Examples of the 54 copper coins (folles) found on the shipwreck. Most are from the imperial mints in Constantinople, Nicomedia, and Cyzicus on the Sea of Marmara  Their dates range from  586/587 A.D. in the reign of Maurice Tiberius to 625/626 A.D. in the reign of Heraclius. ya7coins2.jpg (94305 bytes)
