EGYPT
* Abydos. Study of twelve Early Dynastic boats dating to ca. 3000-2700 BCE
* Dashur. Study and publication of six boats buried beside the pyramid of Sesostris III.
* Giza. Consultant to the Royal Boat Project by the pyramid of Khufu.
* Straits of Gubal. Survey of the Egyptian Red Sea coastline in order to record evidence of seafaring and locate shipwrecks for future excavations.
* Hierakonpolis. Magnetometer survey of Predynastic site.
* Lisht. Study of the hull planks of an early Middle Kingdom freighter.
* Mediterranean. Shipwreck survey off the northwest coast of Egypt at Umm al-Rakham and Marsa Matrouh.
* Northwest Coastal Survey. Survey of Egypt’s Northwestern Coastline in search of evidence for Phoenician seafarers.
* Sadana Island. Excavation and study of an 18th-century porcelain carrier.

* Piraeus. Supervision of construction and test sailing of a full-scale replica of the 4th-century BCE merchant ship Kyrenia II.

* Rio Belen. Underwater survey in Rio Belen for Columbus's Gallega.
POLAND
* Baltic Sea. Establishing a research cooperative for the study of seafaring in the Baltic Sea.
PORTUGAL
* Azores, Terceira Island. Underwater and sonar surveys at Angra Bay on the southern shore of Terceira Island located several 19th or early 20th century iron-hulled vessels.
* Lisbon. The Pepper Wreck Project.
* Arade River. This project focuses on the study of two ships found in 1970 at the mouth of the Arade River, on the southern coast of Portugal, in what is perhaps one of the richest and most interesting underwater archaeological complexes being studied today in Portugal.
* Cais do Sodre. This derelict was found in 1995 on the northern bank of the Tagus River, in Lisbon, during the works for the construction of a subway line that was subsequently named "Caravela," and has been dated by radiocarbon to the late 15th or early 16th century.

* Shinan-gun. Excavation of a 13th-century Chinese merchant ship.
SPAIN
* Cadiz. Underwater survey of the Bay of Cadiz located a late 18th- or early 19th-century ship.
* Lanzarote Island. Establishing a research cooperative for the study of Roman and post-medieval seafaring.
SYRIA
* Mediterranean. Preliminary survey of the Syrian coast.
TURKEY
* Black Sea Trade Project. In conjunction with the Institute for Exploration, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT, this survey searches for the ancient Black Sea Coastline, habitation sites, and shipwrecks in the anaerobic environment of the Black Sea.
* Bodrum. Full-scale replica of the stern and galley of the 7th-century merchant ship excavated at Yassi Ada.
* Bozburun, Selimiye. Excavation and study of a 9th-century Byzantine amphora carrier.
* Cape Gelidonya. Excavation and publication of a late 13th century BCE merchant ship.
* Iskandil Burnu. Underwater survey of a 6th-century Byzantine ship.
* Istanbul. Complete documentation of Kadirga, the galley of the Ottoman Sultan on display in the Naval Museum. The galley probably dates to the mid-17th Century.
*Pabuç Burnu. Excavation of a 6th-century B.C. Greek laced-built merchant ship.
* Serçe Limani. Underwater survey of an ancient anchorage at Serçe Limani.
* Serçe Limani. Excavation of a 3rd-century Hellenistic merchant ship.
* Serçe Limani. Excavation and restoration of an 11th-century merchant ship.
* Seytan Deresi. Excavation of underwater site with large ceramic storage jars dating to 1600 BCE
* Sinop. Black Sea Trade Project. A deep-water survey near Sinop on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.
* Submersible Survey. A survey of the West and Southwest coast of Turkey to locate shipwrecks between 100 and 160 feet of water.
* Tektas Burnu. Survey and excavation of a mid 5th-century B.C. ship.
* Turkish coast. Underwater and sonar surveys of the southwest coast of Turkey.
* Uluburun. Excavation, conservation and study of a late 14th-century BCE merchant ship.
* Urfa. Study of several Bronze Age Ingots dredged from the Goksu River.
* Yalikavak. Underwater survey in one-person sub of a 5th-century merchant ship.
* Yassiada. Excavation of a 4th-century merchant ship.
* Yassiada. Excavation of a 7th-century Byzantine merchant ship.
* Yassiada. Excavation of a 16th-century Ottoman ship.
